#184 | LinkedIn Profile Audits: Live With Kim Kaupe

One of the most frequent questions I get is, “Can you give me some feedback on my LinkedIn profile?” So today I said yes and I shared the LinkedIn profile audits live! It was a perfect way for us to all learn from one another and get better together.

This episode was a bit more visual than usual, we had some incredibly brave Coffee With Kim crew members put their profiles out there and together we explored what works, what doesn’t, and how to create a profile that truly stands out.

Here’s a quick recap of the highlights:

1. The Profile Banner: Your banner is like a billboard for your personal brand, and we talked all about how to make it visually stunning and aligned with what you have to offer. First impressions matter, and this one of the most frequently missed opportunities to stand out or promote something.
2. The About Section: This is your chance to tell your story! We broke down how to craft an “About” section that’s not just informative but also fun and engaging. Yes, keywords are important but connecting with your audience and showing them who you are beyond the resume is too.
3. The Profile Header: Benefits-focused or title-focused? That was the big debate! We explored how to craft a header that communicates your value and what you do in a split second.

During the session, I gave tailored advice to six different profiles. Each one got actionable tips that anyone could use. Whether it was about sprinkling in the right keywords, nailing a killer call to action, or making the profile overall more cohesive, there were takeaways for everyone tuning in.
