LinkedIn can be a game-changer when it comes to professional networking and job hunting. But have you ever felt like your profile isn’t working as hard as you are? This week I shared some game-changing tips to supercharge your LinkedIn profile. We went through new features, must haves and some of my future predictions.
One must have we discussed? The “contact card.” It streamlines how others can find and contact you directly via LinkedIn. I shared an example of a missed opportunity in my business when someone didn’t fill this out properly.
If you’re a freelancer, consultant, or in sales, the “services” section on LinkedIn can be your new best friend. Think of it as your mini website right on your profile, listing the services you offer. It’s a great way to showcase your skills and attract potential clients or employers who are in search of exactly what you provide.
We also dove into some of the basics around best practices for profile pictures, what your about section really needs and how to optimize your about section for what I predict will be big changes to how LinkedIn searches for profiles.
