Does anyone miss traveling? I do.
I heard the best question on a group Zoom call last week and had to share. “If you could go anywhere in the world post-COVID, money no object, where would you go?” It’s deceptively hard. Is your first trip to see family? Or is it somewhere you know and love? Or is it somewhere brand new?!
Have you seen this cheeky website Window Swap?! It is both genius and hilarious. It allows us to look out of each others windows while in quarantine! You can jump on the website and see Denmark or Bavaria or Scotland all from someone else’s window who is sitting at home just like you. It’s a brilliant way to feel connected while apart. (12:30)
I’ve been “reading” (actually listening) to the book The 15 Commitments of Conscious Leadership while I run. Somebody recommended it during a past coffee meeting and I’m loving it! It focuses on leadership & talks about the difference between “I feel” vs “I think” statements. I’ve never noticed how many times I say “I feel” when really I mean “I think”. It’s something I’ve caught myself doing frequently after reading about it!
*Note: Jenn shared an alternative to Audible! It’s called Libro.fm and I’m going to be checking it out this week. It supports local book stores the same way Bookshop does!
Next week, July 29th, I’m talking to Cassie Petrey Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Crowd Surf. We’re talking all about social media, personal branding, and entrepreneurship. She’s involved with some of the biggest names in the business (such a certain pop princess whose name rhymes with Hitney Hears!). She knows a ton about bringing your best self online authentically.
August 5th, I’m talking to Jason Feifer, Editor in Chief of Entrepreneur Magazine. He’s also a dynamic host of not one but TWO podcasts. He’s going to drop some gems when it comes to storytelling I promise!
And wait for it…. August 12th we get to talk to… Cheslie Kryst! Cheslie is not only Miss USA but a full time career woman. Cheslie worked at a law firm up until the day she won the Miss USA title!
I need your help brainstorming how we can spice things up extra, to get more value and a-ha moments from our guests! Do you have any ideas? Do we review something live with them? Have them answer questions ahead of time!? No bad ideas in brainstorming!
Text me (1 (646) 585-7291) any ideas or questions we can ask to these powerhouse guests! Also, check out our new calendar page and add these coffee meetings to your calendar so you don’t miss out!
